The Adult Summer Reading Program began this week! Submit an entry form after you read or listen to 4 books. You'll be entered into our Summer Reading Raffle to win one of several prizes. Keep reading all summer, the program runs through August 24th

Enter our raffle for a chance to win a Gift Basket with a complete set of Harry Potter books! $5 per chance. The basket itself has Harry Potter graphics on it and there are Harry Potter themed snacks as well. Basket is on the first floor of the library if you’d like to have a look. Drawing on Monday, July 20 so enter by then!!
All proceeds go towards enhancing our great library. Basket donated anonymously by a generous patron and we say Thank You!!

Get out and vote Tuesday ,
June 2 at the Mahopac Library! 7 am - 9 pm.
Vote YES to the budget, and vote for 3 open seat on the Board of Trustees. Support our wonderful library!!

Mahopac Central School District residents will head to the polls June 2 to vote on the Mahopac Public Library’s proposed 2026-27 budget and elect three members to the library’s Board of Trustees.  Voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m....

***PLEASE NOTE!!***
Due to the rainy forecast for Saturday, the Board of the MPL Friends has decided to move our Book Barn Community Donation Day to the Rain Date, Sunday, April 26, 1:00-4:30 p.m.
This gives everyone an extra day to find those books you’ve been meaning to clear out!! See you Sunday!!

Open Book Donation Day is here!! Time for spring cleaning?? Come donate your gently used books so you can make room for MORE books! Volunteers will be outside the library Saturday April 25 from 9:30 am- 2:30 pm to help unload any donations directly from your car. All books are sold in our Book Barn (Basement level of MPL) and all proceeds go towards enhancing our great library.
Rain Date : Sunday April 26 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm. Thank you!!
