After experiencing the difficulty of accessing high end, quality tack, in the Northern New England area over a number of years, MCS went on a sudden full-send mission on the idea of carrying a handful of fabulous retailers to offer to folks who are local to the area, and even beyond. Mountain Creek Saddlery is a small business at its core, with a desire to help equestrians far and wide with putting their hands on the products that will support their equestrian experiences to the highest degree. We know you, because we are you. From a strut down the Centerline to a technical XC course, or even a trail ride, and at EVERY single level-- we are here for YOU! Allie Anderson is the owner of MCS, and a true equestrian at heart. Allie is a Child Protection Worker by day, and MSA Saddle Fitter/Professional tack enabler (it's only a tiny bit of a joke) by evening. I am so passionate about helping each and every one of you experience the difference of the highest quality equipment to help you and your heart horses. UPDATE- GONE!

FREE HAY- TODAY ONLY

We have 10 or so DRY round bales from a couple years ago that must leave today. Free for the taking- we can load. Theoretically fine to feed out to cows but probably taste old🤣

That’s a WRAP on 2026!

While the weather was far from cooperative, we’re walking away from another season with full hearts, empty wallets🤣⛽️, and a (mostly) functioning marriage🙃🤠

We are SO grateful for all of our clients. It’s such a fulfilling feeling knowing that the grind is sustaining the community in so many ways. We will FINALLY have some time on our hands for deliveries!

Now onto getting the equipment home, washed, and tucked in til the Spring.

Hay Chix order is here! I have a few 1 3/4” slow feed nets available for grabs if anybody wants one💃🏼

These are my FAVORITE nets by far. You fill it from the “bottom” (and it opens up SO wide) and cinch it back together with a rubber stopper to keep it super secure, and then it hangs from the “top” with a carabiner. Why is this so great? 👏 THE BAG DOESNT CREEP DOWNNNNN 👏

Anyway. Generally the same price as any other net that you’d buy at Tractor Supply but MUCH better quality and with much better engineering.

These are available at all different hole sizes, bale sizes, and even round bale nets 🙂

I have an introductory order going in with Hay Chix! These nets are second to none- I’ve used them for YEARS and can’t wait to share them with our clients!

They offer a variety of basic nets, round bale nets, and even full bale nets and wall style feeders. My fav two items are the round bale nets (which I secure to my round bale feeder for fast feeding!), and the half bale net because the bottom tie and top carabiner fastener makes it SO much easier to fill and hang.

It is gutting us to make this post, however; due to the cost of diesel, we unfortunately must raise the cost of round bales by $5, effective immediately. We have held off on doing this as long as we possibly could, hoping that costs would go down, but the cost of fuel alone has doubled in the last year and at this point it’s no longer sustainable.

Remember, these are 4x5 bales while many bales on the market are 4x4. Our bales pack roughly 18 squares in, so the math is still on your side by a long shot.

Apologies to all that this impacts. We’re doing our best to navigate and will do what we can to minimize the blow to our people💜

Square bales will remain the same at this time.
