Happy September Friends!! There’s nothing extravagant going over here to welcome in the fall🫠😍…. I’m feeling the need for an easy transition into all the wonderful fall months. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE it all but I’m wanting to cherish it, enjoy it and find a breath while doing it. Soooo…. I’m Not jumping on “ber” month trends, I’m not rushing to decorate for Halloween, I’m not putting up my Christmas tree.
In the social media world there is this constant push to move faster, rush to the next holiday, decorate faster than the next influencer , link the most outrageously expensive decor first….. I’m not doing any of that….
Over here at my small humble old house in an old neighborhood ,I’m filling the yard with plants, hanging a disco ball in the garden, buying Trader Joe’s flowers and mini apples, making soup, hanging old vintage tablecloths as cabinet curtains, adding twinkle lights , hanging baskets , using thrifted 1980’s plates as dinner ware , and being ok with all of it!
Life goes so fast. I’m not rushing it along. I’m just doing today and that’s bringing me so much joy! Happy September !!! Be kind !
