Step into the art of succulent design with Patricia Cevallos, a beloved presence at local farmers markets, founder of Pacific Succulents, and designer of gardens for well-known creatives and public figures. In this guided, hands-on workshop, Patricia will lead you through the process of selecting, composing, and planting a living arrangement that is both beautiful and long-lasting.

You’ll learn design principles, plant pairings, and care techniques while working with thoughtfully curated succulents—leaving with a finished piece and the confidence to care for it at home.

Workshop includes:
• 5–7 premium succulent plants
• Soil and materials
• Step-by-step guidance and design instruction

Please bring: one 12” planter and an open, creative spirit.

Presenter Patty Schultz (Professor of English and Literature) and co-presenter Barbara Burke (local reporter) are on a mission to create more opportunities for writing, listening to great writing, and appreciating writing through journals.

Not surprisingly, both hosts have been journaling—publicly and privately—since the 1970s and are passionate advocates for celebrating personal writing, poetry, and journalism.
