People often ask me how is it running a small business like a flowershop in Malone when you have other competitors. I have always said there is room for many. We all do our own thing. I have always had an open and friendly relationship with them. Today I was overwhelmed by the kindness and compassion of Travis Preve. I called him late last night when I realized my husband was having a medical emergency and being transferred to Plattsburgh for treatment. My worst fear was realized, my husband needed me, but I had a full plate at work with a funeral that I couldn’t just cancel. I called Travis and without hesitation he drove the two hours from his house to my shop ( a competitor) to help me design beautiful sympathy flowers for a wonderful family. He is an amazing human. I can’t thank you enough Travis for having my back . This is what true friendship, and the small business community looks like. A true gem of a man. I also want to thank Krista Beachy, she was willing to come in to help Travis but I was able to make it home to finish. To my Mom you’re the best coming in to unpack all the flowers and Deb and Machela I couldn’t have done it without all of your help.♥️♥️♥️
