I got confirmation from my distributor that our Hobbit play boxes have been delayed until next month. I was not able to adjust my order in time to get anything new in this week. Next week I will have some Pokemon and a little Hobbit but not much unless there is something else being released. I am going to spend Saturday working on the 2nd space for the store but I likely won’t be buying much this weekend. Stop by to talk about cards and help me make excuses on not doing stuff I am supposed to be doing!!!

Tomorrow is the start of the big show in CB! We are just inside the entrance on the left side against the wall. Be sure to stop by and see what we have, we have been buying a lot the last few months just to prep for this show. I am going to be looking for base set shadowless holos to finish out my master set. If you have some bring them by, they will be binder cards in my PC so no graded. Although if you have a nice graded shadowless card I still want to see it!!!

This last weekend we had a few newer people in the store. We got to talking about vintage and I remembered I had a Japanese base set starter box that I bought myself off a shelf in the year 2000. Here are a few pictures of it. 1300 yen was about $10 at the time! These are going for quite a bit more now, this is PC so not for sale.

We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who visited us yesterday. It was a pleasure spending time with both new and familiar faces, engaging in conversations about cards. We are excited to announce that new products will be arriving next week, and we have made arrangements to stock a vast majority of single cards in store. Our team will dedicate some time this week to organizing and cleaning the store to ensure a more pleasant shopping experience. We are always looking for $1-$30 cards. I might have a few surprises from my PC in to show off as well!!

It was great seeing everyone and hopefully you all pulled something good!!

We are open today but are going to need to close tomorrow. Between storm cleanup and fence building we need a day to finish projects and recover. Nothing new came in from distribution or collection buys this week. We will be open weekends until the Council Bluffs card show the weekend of 7/24-26.

We will be open tomorrow (Saturday) but closed on Sunday so we can go to Collect-a-con in Kansas City. Hope to see you in the store or maybe in KC on Sunday!! We have some new booster boxes that came in Wednesday night. We will try to get some pictures posted tomorrow. Plus still plenty of stuff from last weeks pickups!

We bought a decent sized sealed Pokemon collection today. We have it all out on the shelves as of just a little while ago. Stop by tomorrow if you are looking for some boxes to rip! The store will be open tomorrow from 1-4, maybe a little later depending on the rain. (I need to mow!) We do have a couple of Riftbound boxes left as well and even some Phantasmal and Perfect order individual packs left at MSRP. Not many of those left but a handful still in stock.
