The Atlantic Jet Sports Stomper Six-Wheel Beach Carts have been selected for use by the Seaside Heights, NJ Beach Patrol for the 2013 season. As the Jersey shore continues its rebuild and recovery from Hurricane Sandy we are honored and proud to contribute to the efforts.

We spent the weekend in Beach Haven West going door to door offering any help and assistance that we could provide. We made stops at the destroyed homes of our customers to lend a hand with the clean up and make sure they know we are here for them. They can call us anytime for help, a warm place to stay or just charge their devices.

The destruction is massive but the love and appreciation for one another is equally as massive. We are all very fortunate to live in a community where so many band together in a time of need not asking "what's in it for me" but "what can I do for you?". I've watched in disbelief as some adults have acting like children with ignorant posts, comments and actions while doing nothing to contribute to the task at hand. Others have risen to the occasion and put together charity drives, offered food and shelter and coordinated a trunk-or-treat for the township children all while dealing with their own issues. I've beamed with pride at several 16-26 year olds I've been blessed to have met as they stepped up without hesitation to help this community.

While at one house today with a group of teachers from the school district one said jokingly "Who knew this was part of being a teacher?!?" to which I replied "You're teaching right now".

As we ripped up and removed the carpeting, furniture and appliances of an 85 year old woman's home who we've never met before she summed it up this way... "It's just stuff.. It's everything I owned but its just stuff.. I'll just start over again."

It's all just so heart breaking and heart warming at the same time.

I'm not a very smart person with any of the answers nor will I ever be or claim to be. But something I do know is how to treat people. How to love people. How to love life. What things matter and what things just don't. How to look at a disaster and see the good in it. The good in people. The good in myself.

God bless all our dear neighbors and customers who we consider our friends who have lost so much. We will continue to stand with you through this difficult time and during the rebuilding process.
