Ahhhhh. Home.

Perched high on a ridge in the Hollywood Hills, the Chuey House (1957) was designed by Richard Neutra for poet Josephine Ain Chuey and her husband, painter Robert Chuey. This elegant International Style residence showcases Neutra’s signature elements - smooth stucco walls, bold horizontal lines, delicate “spider leg” supports, and sweeping floor-to-ceiling glass that opens onto a tranquil reflecting pool.
Would you rather have a home like this high in the hills with city views, or a hidden mid-century retreat surrounded by nature?

Beautiful hotel back in the 70’s and 80’s…

Built in 1956, the Beverly Hilton Hotel brought sleek Modernist glamour to the heart of Beverly Hills. Designed by Welton Becket and Associates, the hotel perfectly captured the optimism and elegance of postwar California design — all clean lines, palm trees, and understated luxury. Would you rather stay in a mid-century classic like this, or a cutting-edge modern hotel with all the latest design trends?
