I would walk past this every day. What started as the resemblance of a w**d quickly grew into a gorgeous crepe myrtle, thriving (somehow) in between the sidewalk and busy road. And it BLOOMED!
Though I haven’t seen it in years, this flowering shrub has been a constant testimony for me that there is beauty in brokenness. Cracks in the road paved way for new life to miraculously grow.
I have felt the potters hands hard at work these last few months — easing and reworking cracks I’ve sustained and put innumerable pressure on, to the point of breaking. I’ve felt anxiety and depression like never before and have felt myself cried out, “If only I could but touch hem of His garment!”
But there is blessing is breaking. The daily practice of gratitude has given me reason to give thanks, even while feeling tossed in the tempests. And He has been nothing but gentle & faithful.
There is new life forming; little blossoms promised. I choose to believe this.
I could explain the reasonings behind it all, but the hot take is this:
🌸I’m returning to the teaching world come August
🌸My website is moving to Catholic Owned
In clearing out & closing up my website, I’m offering a sale on my gift boxes. If you know a Mama in need, would you consider purchasing a gift for her? Any purchase will help pay costs as I make the switch. My website will be live until the end of July and then you will find me fully on Catholic Owned. As I clear out my inventory, look for additional products available for purchase through my stories and feed.
These last few months have truly been some of my most challenging. But in the spirit of gratitude, thanks for being along for the ride, dear friends 🤍 To Jesus, through Mary!
