Our hearts are heavy this morning. The violence that occurred during last night’s First Friday event here in Old Town is difficult to process and truly devastating. Finding the words to really express the seriousness of this tragedy is impossible but this photo taken by Cassidy earlier this year at our Farmer’s Market here represents the love and heart of our community. We are a strong, loving community and in this difficult time it’s important to have patience, reserve judgement on others, and to come together to heal and support the families affected. Love is the only way to do this. Remember to show kindness and empathy. A child lost their life for no reason last night and another forever changed and that’s unacceptable. For now, we must support the grieving family and all of our friends and neighbors. Our thoughts are with you. We love all of you! 🩵
