This took WAY longer than anticipated, but I think I finally have the correct adhesive and sealant to make this Corkie waterproof. I am in hopes that this sealant will dry fully and not remain tacky to the touch. ImI wanted the fibers sealed so spills could be wiped off. Might try a trivet next.

What do you all think?

Introducing Corkies! Not your basic coaster, these are created from Weavies, hand woven on a pin loom, which are then mounted onto a cork backing. Protect your surfaces with style.

These were really fun to make, so keep an eye out for more patterned and embellished Weavies.

They measure 4" x 4" and are $8 each.
