❤️ A little reminder about shopping small…

Small businesses are struggling right now. And sometimes I wonder if people realize just how much every single purchase truly matters.

When you spend money at a small, locally owned business, you’re not helping some huge corporation hit another sales goal.

You’re helping someone pay their electric bill.
You’re helping put groceries on a family’s table.
You’re helping pay for dance lessons, school clothes, daycare, or a tank of gas.
You’re helping someone keep their employees working.
You’re helping a person continue chasing a dream they’ve poured their heart, time, and money into.

And shopping local doesn’t mean you have to spend hundreds of dollars. Sometimes it’s grabbing lunch at the local restaurant instead of a chain. Buying a birthday gift downtown instead of ordering it online. Picking up something you need from the local store instead of automatically clicking “add to cart.”

Even when you can’t spend money, you can support a small business for FREE. Share their post. Leave a review. Tag a friend. Tell someone about them. Engage with their page. ❤️

Small businesses are a huge part of what makes a small town feel like a community. But they can only stay here if the community continues to support them.

So when you have the choice, choose local when you can.

Because to a small business owner, your purchase is never “just another sale.”

It matters more than you probably realize. ❤️

Tonight, Repeats turned into the ULTIMATE hide & seek arena. 😂

My best friend and I played hide & seek with our kiddos after hours, and I’m not sure who had more fun… us or them. 🤣

It was seriously SO nostalgic because who else remembers being a kid and immediately crawling underneath the clothes racks while your mom shopped?! 🙋‍♀️😂 Apparently some things never change.

Turns out owning a consignment store has its perks… unlimited hiding spots. 😂

Now I need to know — did YOU hide under the clothes racks as a kid too?! 👇
