We had a fun day today despite the rain! Thanks to all who showed up! See you again in October!! 💗
As we hook up the bookshop, to head home from a very long day at the Sandlot, we want to come on here and thank everyone who showed up in the pouring rain today. We are so incredibly grateful. 💜
When the forecast turned against us, we braced for the worst. Instead, you showed up anyway. Umbrellas up, ponchos on, rain jackets zipped, and the biggest smiles on your faces. You turned a soggy Sunday afternoon into one of the most special days we’ve had yet.
Our vendors, even soaked to the bone, never stopped smiling, because the energy you brought made every drop of rain worth it. Watching how busy it managed to stay, despite the weather doing everything it could to keep people away, honestly meant so much to everyone involved.
You didn’t have to come. You could’ve stayed home, dry and cozy. But you chose us. You chose community. You chose books, and each other, and that means more to us than anything.
To everyone who braved the storm with us today: thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
And if you missed it this time? We understand, but don’t let it happen twice. 🤭😉
