A MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT AND FAREWELL:

Although in the time since I have had my babies— and temporarily stopped my artistry— I have considered and even begun getting back into customizing, after prayerful consideration, I am permanently closing shop. The group will remain open for browsing but will not be open to orders.

The reality is that my values no longer align with the values of the American Girl Company as it currently operates, and in good conscience I cannot continue purchasing or enhancing dolls that benefit their company.

Thank you all for supporting me in my work over these years! All the best.

I am pleased to announce that Lily’s Little Custom Dolls will soon be REOPENING! After a hiatus to enjoy new motherhood, I am excited to be offering custom dolls once again.

While I set up shop, look for a revitalization of this space, an Instagram and web page you can follow, and (hopefully very soon!) pre-orders.

What a wonderful journey it was to begin this craft! I’m delighted to be up and running again!

Hello again everyone, your creator here! I’ve been enjoying my hiatus as a new parent, but new projects are on the horizon. No release date yet, but this is what I’m planning! Some updates:

When I stopped customizing, the market was flooded with custom dolls. It has become so much easier to create simple custom dolls that I knew I had to carve my own niche. I’ve been brainstorming and have decided to offer several custom pieces that NO ONE else on the market is offering.

What made American Girl so special to me as a child? The stories, of course! But I’ve never seen a custom doll come with a story. My background is in writing and illustration, so I’m proud to announce that every custom doll will now come with her own special story, with blank pages for girls to fill in! Naturally any commissioned doll will have her story tailored to her owner’s preference.

Personally, I was more drawn to the historical dolls as a kid. I’ve always had a love for history and historical fashion. America has such a rich history that I’d love to offer custom historical dolls for time periods, places, and backgrounds that haven’t yet been featured by the American Girl company. I’d also like these dolls to more reflect the spirit of younger girls, as I personally feel many of the newer historical dolls feel quite “grown up.”

These projects will take time, but I’m so excited to be back embarking on this adventure. Stay tuned!

You guys, I’m SO excited to debut this gorgeous customized AG Girl of the Year 2019 Blaire, made from a brand new doll and featuring the cutest autumn outfit ever!! She features a flannel plaid cardigan, and her adorable lacy top and leggings are both from AG Saige’s collection. She has super high-quality burgundy riding boots plus a matching belt that is fully functional with buckle. Her super soft hair is a wine-burgundy auburn and is so easy to style, heat-safe too! Check out her deep green eyes, a realistic upgrade. To enhance her look, her lips have been glossed in a matching burgundy and her cheeks/nose kissed with the frosty nip of October.
