For sale- an exceptionally rare and coveted SOSHU YUHIN or “masterpiece,” designated as such by Tanobe sensei. This uchigatana has a 55.4CM blade length (nearly a katana). Is certified Tokubetsu hozon, with papered fittings (kozuka and kogai), elegant koshirae, original horimono and a very wide powerful hirazukuri shape featuring tobiyaki, yubashiri, sunagashi, and kinsuji. There is so much to admire in this sword. The horimono is also world-class and original. I am very pleased to offer this Soshu masterpiece. Sayagaki translated by Markus Sesko.
