We were surprised by the amount of interest and engagement our post about the $27.50 Night Hunting Equipment fee received.

The comments showed some clear themes:

-Strong opposition to the fee
-Concern it’s primarily about revenue
- Distrust of KDWP and appointed officials
-Frustration with increasing regulations
-Questions about where hunters’ money actually goes
-A desire for more opportunity—not more restrictions

So what do we do?

GET INVOLVED.
Contact your legislators and KDWP Commissioners. Tell them what you think. Ask questions. Show up and speak during public comment.
