In November 1967, Manitowoc native Reinhart Ebert returned from 13 months service in Vietnam, and needing something to do with his time he and a friend attended an auction where he bought a few antiques. Sitting in the spotlight this week for featured item is this beautiful bench. This bench is made of pine with its original finish ca 1920. It has two lift up hatches for storage below on the 54 inch wide, 51 inch high, and 18 inch deep bench. This piece would be great for a mud room, front hallway, and as a part of a dinette in a kitchen; but if this piece is the wrong size or style, we have several other benches and church pews for sale. Today’s featured item is a Suzy Pick. Here is a handmade jelly cupboard ca 1870 from the Kewaunee area. Old bittersweet paint covering an older blue paint.
