Now that it’s been gifted I can share another completed commission! This quilt was gifted by my sister to her elephant loving friend who’s becoming a mom, and I’m so glad to have been able to help bring her vision to life.

Little sister’s quilt is now complete as well! Hers was slightly smaller (10x10” blocks instead of 12x12”) because her shirts weren’t as big as her brothers’
She had so many different colors represented in her shirts that I couldn’t resist doing a gradient rather than the random layout I’d done for the twins. But to keep continuity for all the siblings she also got a backing of her favorite sport and a binding in her favorite color :)

Got this pair of T-shirt quilts finished for a pair of twins who just graduated high school!

It was fun to see which teams and activities they had in common, and which ones were just their own. Backed and bound in fabrics that correspond to each twin’s favorite color and sport.
When they were delivered, the guys said they were “sick” which I hear is high praise from a teenage boy 😅

Their sister who just finished 8th Grade is getting one as well but there was a bit of trouble with the wrong backing fabric being sent, so hers will be along soon. Wanted to get the boys’ delivered in time for their grad party.

The last nephew gift! This is maybe the proudest I’ve ever been of something I’ve sewn. This little bitty fox shirt just came out so professionally!

My nephew requested a new robe, as his other one was getting too short. He was very excited that the tie wasn’t attached in the back, because he loves to take them out and pretend they’re snakes 😂

My little niece has been into fashion lately, so at Thanksgiving, we sat down and designed her dream dress. It had everything she loves, cats, music, green, flowers, bows and ruffles! Was she ever surprised to receive her dress in real life when we celebrated Christmas in early January 🥰
(The neckline has since been reworked, I wasn’t quite happy with it on a 3 dimensional person 😅)

My Mother in Law is the world’s biggest fan, and asked me forever ago to make her a quilt out of the fabrics she’s acquired, but customer commissions and my other job had repeatedly pushed it to the back burner. I made it a priority to finally finish it this Christmas, and she loved it!
There’s also a little hidden Mickey in the corner that I cut from one of her old scrubs that I was given when she retired from nursing, as she’s a big Disney fan as well! 🐭

The trouble with content this time of year, is most of what I’m making is Christmas presents. Now that this has been gifted any it won’t spoil the surprise, here’s my husband’s new coat! Made out of a mid century Orlaskan wool blanket, it’s incredibly cozy.
