Since 1985 Rick has been tuning and servicing pianos in Mankato and the south-central Minnesota region. Rick is certified as a field expert with the Dampp-Chaser Corporation, a manufacturer of humidity control systems for pianos. Rick is an associate member of the Piano Technicians Guild (PTG), Twin Cities Chapter #553. He regularly attends many of the continuing educational seminars offered by th

e Guild, especially the annual summer convention held in Kansas City. Rick is the campus technician for two area colleges: Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, and Martin Luther College in New Ulm. He is regularly asked to tune for visiting performers in the area such as Lorie Line, the late Maynard Ferguson, Debra Gibson, The O’Neil Brothers, Frederick Chiu, The Vienna Choir Boys, The U.S. Air force Band and the U.S. Army Jazz Band.
