As we gear up for another exciting season, we've got more cottage vendors to introduce you to with the return of our Meet the Market series! Today we're featuring returning shop Mama Moore's Gourtmet Popcorn. Their unique, small-batch flavors have kept Mansfield shoppers hungry for more, and we can't wait to see what new delicious concoctions they come up with this fall!

Got weekend plans? Of course you do! It's opening weekend for the Fall Cottage Market at Geyer Commons and it's absolutely *packed* with free fun for everyone!

It all kicks off this Friday, Sept. 4, with the return of Unplugged Fridays presented by Methodist Mansfield Medical Center.

The fun starts at 5 p.m. ,when the market and food trucks open. From 5-7 p.m. we've got a mini foam party brought to you by Foam Playground, and from 5-9 p.m. Kidcreate Studiois hosting a guitar craft activity.

This weekend's main event at 7 p.m. is a kickoff concert featuring The Inspiration Band, a high-energy cover/R&B group that will have you dancing under the stars!

But wait... we're just getting started!

Come back Saturday morning at 8 a.m. for Yoga on the Lawn with Sunshine Yoga Shack. At 9 a.m., the market, splash pad, and food trucks open for another full day of shopping and fun.

From 9 a.m. to Noon, our friends at Cook Children's Mansfield are hosting a Teddy Bear Checkup, where you can bring your favorite stuffy for a thorough *medical* inspection and play doctor while learning about healthy habits (for bears and kiddos alike!)

Also from 9 a.m. to Noon, Classic Cars For The Cure is hosting Coffee and Cars, a classic car display! Explore some hod rods and sip a hot beverage (or iced, as the weather tends to dictate!) while enjoying another fabulous day at the Commons.

Finally, Sunday brings our first Sunday Funday pop-up market of the season, where you'll find even more small businesses to support, all while enjoying the live music of singer/songwriter Tyler Hook.

The Geyer Commons family is growing!

Please join us in welcoming two new shops to the market: Plant.cessories and Nikilee Pottery! When the market reopens for the fall season, you'll be able to shop Plant.cessories' fun, plant-parent gifts, supplies and greenery, and discover Nikilee Pottery’s handcrafted ceramics & pottery designed with heartwarming, modern flair. We'll be sharing more about both of these new shops, as well as some of your returning favorites, in the coming weeks while our cottages take a well-earned break to rest and refresh their spaces.

Thank you for supporting this one-of-a-kind way to shop and play in Historic Downtown Mansfield and we look forward to seeing you on the Fall Season opening day, Friday, Sept. 4!

Thank you to everyone who made the inaugural market season at Geyer Commons so truly remarkable. We've loved watching thousands of residents gather in our new downtown park each week for concerts and movie nights, park playdates and, of course, shopping!

The Cottage Market is now taking its August break, though select cottages may stay and/or be operating on modified hours. Check our website or the social media accounts of your favorite shop for more details.

We can’t wait to welcome you back when our weekend market schedule resumes for the fall season on September 4; stay tuned for updates to our shops and events in the coming weeks!

It's been a remarkable spring season at Geyer Commons, but we can't let it end without a splash! Join us all weekend long for tons of free, hometown fun before the market closes for the August break.

Friday, July 31: Unplugged Friday presented by Methodist Mansfield Medical Center kicks off with food trucks including East Coast Flavors Food Truck & Catering, Simply Sippin and Suga Kisses.

From 5-9PM, enjoy free bounce house play presented by Barbara Perez Realtor, in addition to the splash pad and lawn games. At 7PM, Rozy L & Band will serenade us into the weekend with their singer-songwriter stylings.

On Saturday, August 1 we start as always with a sun salutation from Sunshine Yoga Shack and their free yoga class on the lawn at 8AM.

At 9:30AM, Aqua-Tots Swim School is hosting a free water safety playdate, for parents and kids to learn important tricks with fun, interactive play.

At 10:30AM, our friends at Lightbridge Academy have a unique water craft to create, and to top off the summer splash, we've got water games and slides to enjoy from 10AM-2PM!

Finally, our Sunday closes with a Go the Distance run club meetup at 8AM followed by the final pop up market of the season, moved a little earlier due to the heat. Join us from 10AM-3PM for unique new small businesses to browse, more food trucks, and even an acoustic performance from Isaiah Grose.

As always, all of these activities (other than shopping at the market and food truck purchases!) are FREE, thanks to the City of Mansfield's commitment to bringing you remarkable ways to gather, grow, preserve and PLAY together all year long, but especially in our newest downtown destination, Geyer Commons!

Happy Friday, Mansfield! Who's ready to unplug?

Summer is slipping away, but not before we squeeze out a little more family fun! Join us tonight for Unplugged Fridays at Geyer Commons, presented by Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. Tonight (07/24) we're bringing the classic American rock/blues sounds of Suzy & the Sissies to the stage from 7-9 p.m. While you listen, enjoy eats & treats from East Coast Flavors Food Truck & Catering, What's On Tap NRH,M&D Sweet Treatz, and Simply Sippin lemonades. And of course, we'll have the splash pad, lawn games, street pickleball and more ways to play and enjoy these last few hours of summer fun!

Tomorrow, make a date for a run with Movida Run Club or yoga on the lawn with to kick start the day. Then, head to for an awesome family night, including wiffle ball, pitching tests, and more. Pitch and Play Day goes from 5-8 p.m. and is, of course, FREE!

Sunday, you've got one more chance to run with Go the Distance Run Club or just stop by the Geyer Commons shops for casual shopping and cool drinks.

Put a little sparkle in your holiday weekend with us at Geyer Commons! The fun starts tonight, July 3, with a DJ and music bingo as part of Unplugged Fridays presented by Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. No fireworks, just simple & easy family fun!

The market opens at 5 p.m., with food truck serving up all-American burgers and fries. The DJ will begin spinning tunes at 6 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. you can test your skills with music bingo!

Tomorrow is our super-special freedom bell ringing, part of a national coordinated effort to celebrate the nation's historic anniversary. Join us at 11:30 a.m. for crafts, popsicles, a patriotic singalong and a chance to be one of the people to ring our bell 250 times at exactly noon!

Both days will have regular market hours, with the splash pad and lawn games will be out and open for play from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. All the activities are free (aside from food truck or market purchases!) thanks to our generous sponsors and our City's commitment to make every day remarkable in Mansfield.

Ready for another remarkable weekend, Mansfield? We're closing out June in style at Geyer Commons with a weekend full of fun.

Friday, 06/26 at 7PM: Unplugged Friday presented by Methodist Mansfield Medical Center includes live music from Texas High Road , food trucks including Tom Dem Dogs, Simply Sippin Lemonade and M&D Sweet Treatz, on top of the splash pad and our fabulous cottage vendors. Cool off with some hot tunes and enjoy an unplugged summer night!
*Note: The band goes on at 7pm, but the market and food trucks start at 5pm, so come early to grab your seat, get some eats and relax! Seating is available but blankets and chairs are encouraged.

Bring dad to Geyer Commons for a remarkable day of fun together! The Mansfield Philharmonic is performing from 12-2 p.m., our cottage shops are open for shopping, food trucks are onsite and the combined Juneteenth and Czech Out Mansfield festivities run from 4-9 p.m.

It’s all happening TODAY, Sunday June 21 with our friends at Visit Mansfield and Mansfield Special Events …. See you (and dad!) at the market!
