Our annual “GHOST COLONY” shirt is almost here! This year’s Halloween design is yet another completely original design in our series of Outer Banks legends & folklore. We plan to reveal this new original art by local artist Britton Ricketts this coming weekend. In the meantime, we’ll leave you with this interesting little fact as a teaser:

Pamlico Sound is a large estuarine lagoon in North Carolina. The largest lagoon along the North American East Coast, it extends 80 miles long and 15 to 20 miles wide. It is part of a large, interconnected network of similar lagoons that includes Albemarle Sound, Currituck Sound, Croatan Sound, Roanoke Sound, Pamlico Sound, Bogue Sound, Back Sound, and Core Sound.

In the past, we’ve done Halloween designs of the Ghost of Blackbeard, the Goat Man of Nags Head Woods, and the Wendigo of Wanchese. Can anyone guess what this year‘s creature will be?
