One of my great joys as a farmer florist is making something for a repeat customer that I just know they’re going to love, because they’ve been ordering from me for years and every time they pick up their flowers I watch their face and take a mental note of how they react to each one. I don’t consider myself a people pleaser, but if I can quietly learn about your favorite things, I will remember them and I will use that information to absolutely make your week. When’s the last time a grocery store bouquet did that?

Just a quick look at the north garden today. This is the newest section of growing space and I’m so pleased with how well it’s filled in. Yes, I mix my veggies and flowers. They love it.

The world has been falling apart our entire lives. I firmly believe that humans biologically aren’t built to be able to handle the amount of information that we now have access to with all the current technology. That’s why I don’t watch the news, and I find my peace in tending to my silly little garden and beautifying my small corner of the world with flowers.

I love cutting flowers as the sun goes down. The birds are chattering to one another and the bees are fat and lazy. This color combo is one I don’t think I’ve tried yet, I love how it came together.
