Mounting the new tuba on its new windchest for Grace University Lutheran in Minneapolis. Several vendors were involved, so it’s necessary to ensure everything fits properly. On 12” of wind pressure, this one will wake ‘em up!

Great progress on our enlargement of the organ at Grace University Lutheran on the campus of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Close to half the pipes are back in the organ after cleaning. Lots of trays full of pipes remain. We also are building a high pressure (12”) chest to hold a new Tuba, made in England for this organ. Most of it should be finished by the end of September

Our project to move and enlarge the Casavant from Luther Seminary in St. Paul is complete. The organ is now at home in St. John’s Lutheran in Howard Lake, MN.

Another milestone in Howard Lake, MN. Exposed pipes are in place.

Completion is in sight for Howard Lake. Rebuilt console has been delivered. It was blond to match woodwork in the seminary chapel. Refinished to match the St. John’s woodwork.

Open house for St. John’s Lutheran in Howard Lake, MN. Half of the organ is playable in the shop. This is the complete Casavant Great. 8’ facade on the left will be visible in the church. Original blond console has been refinished to match woodwork in the church. New nameboard and relay.

Work is gearing up for St. John’s in Howard Lake, MN. Shown are the Great windchest being fitted for new ranks and all of the middle C pipes on the voicing machine. Adjusting them to balance and to work with pipes added from the old organ.

Work on the Casavant organ at St. John’s in Howard Lake, Mn begins in earnest next week when the existing Wicks (4 ranks) is removed. Much of the pipework will be incorporated into the Casavant, currently in storage.
