🎙️ **Episode 3 of the Lifeway Worship Podcast is here!**
**The key matters—but the real goal is making worship easier for the room, not harder.**
This week, we’re joined by **Travis Cottrell**, worship pastor at Brentwood Baptist Church and a worship leader, artist, songwriter, arranger, and author who has spent more than 30 years serving the local church. Travis brings decades of experience leading congregations and helping worship leaders think carefully about how the music we choose serves the people we lead.
One simple shift we talk about: **choose the key that helps people sing—not just the one that sounds impressive.**
The leader’s comfort matters, but accessibility for the congregation matters more. Remove the obstacles and give people room to participate.
As your team chooses songs this week, ask:
**Does this help people sing, or does it make them sit back?**
That’s worth carrying into Sunday. 🙌
