Book Break Locally owned independent bookstore re-opened in November 2025 at new location in Maple Lake, Minnesota. Special orders welcome. Local artesian crafts available.

Offering new and used books, sheet music, greeting cards and dvd's. Hi, I'm Marilyn. I opened a bookstore in Maple Lake in 1985 and then moved to Buffalo for many years. I relocated back to downtown Maple Lake in a beautiful historic building in 2015 - 2023. After my retirement in 2024, the Maple Lake Chamber of Commerce selected me to be the Grand Marshall in the St. Patrick's Day Parade. It was

my honor to represent this small close-knit community where we have lived and raised our children for more than 45 years. After a break, I decided to re-open in a smaller store front as the Book Break Outlet. I look forward to seeing you.
