Please consider a donation to Head Start Animal Rescue. This is the rescue that saved our . If you cannot contribute, please share.

until further notice, we are closed for intake. our main priority at the moment is to place our adoptable cats into homes. we are not a sanctuary, nor do we have unlimited funding. placing our cats and kittens into homes is necessary in maintaining a functional and stable animal rescue. it would be irresponsible to continue intaking at this time until we can start moving our current fosters into permanent living home placements.

kitten season was also very hard on head start animal rescue. while HSAR helps in Philly and provides assistance to other trappers, I am the main person who traps in South Jersey, fosters, attends events, and facilitates adoptions. our adoptions have been very slow and our donations are unfortunately not covering supplies and medical care (which is leading us into medical debt).

mushroom is also still anemic and her care will likely be long term with us until she is considered stable by our veterinarian. please consider donation if you can as kitten season really took everything out of me (and we are still dealing with an overwhelming amount of kittens).

Created our account…approved. Go to place an order - won’t ship semi rifles to NJ - Period. Such BS. Hey policy is policy…but choose comparable products from companies that WON’T Infringe on your rights. Even the manufacturers hate us. Can’t wait for the stay to be lifted. Cant say we will run straight to this company first - but at least we can have more say.
