If you walked into my soap workshop, you might expect to see oils, butters, fragrance oils, and colorful soaps curing on the shelves.
But one of the strangest things you'd find? Bamboo skewers! 😊
No, I'm not making kabobs in the soap shop! I use bamboo skewers to create the swirls and patterns you see inside many of my soaps. Every swirl is made by hand, so no two bars are ever exactly alike. It's one of my favorite parts of the soap-making process because it's where each batch gets its own unique personality.
Sometimes the simplest tools create the prettiest results.
Now I'm curious... what's the strangest tool you use for work or one of your hobbies? I'd love to hear!
It's a great conversation starter and gives people a little behind-the-scenes peek at how your handmade soaps come to life.
