We are a teaching studio and gallery located in the quaint victorian village of Skaneateles, NY. We are offer a variety of classes, from one night paint and sips, to studio rental space; as well as a curated gallery collection representing a diverse mix of ceramics, blown glass, wood work, jewelry, and mixed media. Welcome back to school!! For all your creative kiddos, get a little extra art time at Papavero with our kids/teens afterschool clay class! 6 week session meeting on Monday afternoons from 4-5, these sessions are always great! Just a snapshot of our weekly schedule of classes coming up for the fall! Fall session will begin on Monday August 31 and go through the 24th of October. The afterschool kids session will start up September 28th, giving some time for parents and kids to settle into the school schedule. All of the classes are on our website under the classes/schedule tab, and registration is available right there! Find the one that fits your schedule and sign up today! We have a raku focused class on the schedule for the fall session! One thing we really were looking forward to the move last year is being able to do some things outside, so here it is! Come make things, learn about glazing for alternative firings, and join us exploring some smoke and fire! We will try some new glazes, play with some terra sig for naked raku and some horsehair techniques, maybe do some tin foil saggar firing as well! This is an eight week class, will begin September 2nd and run until the end of October, It should be a great time!! Fall handbuilding and wheel throwing classes are now open, register today with link in our bio! Summer was a blur, but we did indeed have fun. Join us for our next session, get your hands dirty, and see what everyone is talking about! Daytime and evening classes are available, with multiple classes scheduled Monday - Friday. There’s definitely something tha will fit your schedule. Find your creative spark today!

Kids summer camps are open for registration!! Sign your kids up, we have two available weeks in July and two in August! Camps run Monday thru Friday from 9-10am. List will make and finish during the week, allowing them to take part in the entire Clay process. We have so many fun projects lined up, it will be a summer highlight for sure! Have you ever wanted to try making things on the potters wheel? Is an eight week course too much of a commitment right now? Then look no further!! We are offering six evening options each month to give it a try! We have scheduled some two hour classes in May and June that will get you on the wheel, instruction on how to make all the things click, and designed to get your hands in clay and some pots to bring home. All participants will make one to two pieces during the class, and our team here at papavero will trim finish the bottoms and glaze in a glaze of your choice! Once fired and finished we will reach out and let you know they are ready for pickup. These are great opportunities for an evening out with friends, bring a bottle of w**e, and do something creative! The link in our bio for special events will get you to our info page and registration, and we have Tuesday evening options, Friday evening options, and Saturday afternoon options. May and June are available now, with summer schedule soon to be posted. Come spend a creative evening in the studio, it’s a blast!
