There's a moment every September when the light shifts and suddenly all you want is a cozy corner to disappear into. 📖

A good book. A soft blanket. A chair by the window that feels like it was made for exactly this.

Carpet makes those moments even better. It's quiet underfoot, warm in the morning, and turns an ordinary room into the kind of space you actually want to spend time in. 🍂

When you're choosing carpet color and texture for a dining or living area, test it in the actual lighting of the room, not just under the showroom lights. 💡

Natural light, warm lamp light, and overhead lighting can all make the same carpet look completely different. A sample that looks like a warm oat in the store might read as cool gray in your north-facing room.

Bring a sample home before you commit. 🫡

A floor can be the most interesting thing in a room. ✨

If you've been playing it safe with flooring choices, consider this your permission slip to go for it.

Chevron and herringbone patterns are having a serious moment right now, and it's easy to see why. The angular lines add movement and energy to a space in a way that straight planks simply don't. Paired with bold walls and dramatic finishes, the result is a room that feels truly designed.

The best part? The pattern works in virtually any wood tone, from pale blonde to deep walnut, so you're not locked into one look. 😍

Laminate vs LVP. Same look, very different performance. Here's what actually separates them. 🤔

🪵 Laminate has a wood composite core. It looks beautiful and is budget-friendly, but it is NOT waterproof. Standing water can cause it to swell and warp.

💧 LVP is 100% vinyl all the way through, making it completely waterproof and a better fit for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements.

🦶 Feel: LVP is slightly softer and quieter underfoot. Laminate can sound hollow without quality underlayment.

Neither is the wrong choice. It just depends on the room and how your household lives.

September energy: realizing every design decision you made in 2021 now needs to be reconsidered. 😂🪴

The floors stayed. The floors are fine. The floors are carrying this whole room actually. But the rest of it?

There's something about the fall refresh season that makes you look at your space with completely new eyes. And honestly, that's not a bad thing. It usually means something good is about to happen. ✨

Will this key scratch these floors?

We put Lions Floor LVP and laminate floors to the test by scratching them with a sharp key, the results? None of the floors sustained any visible damages during the test, this is due to the advanced protective wear layer found on all Lions Floor products.

Which flooring type would you choose?
