After hours work for the future and my brain.

Draw in 2D CAD, convert to CAM, machine in wood to prototype, build rough draft prototype, cut out of real materials, assemble rough prototype, grind.

Next is lock/detent/grind/heat treat/finishing/sharpening.

Then testing.

The goal is to make a heavy use, CPM stainless steel folder with a 3.5” blade made to be abused.

We will be keeping it hand made in USA of course 🇺🇸.

I keep every prototype for R&D purposes, but since this one is no longer for that purpose, she needs a home!

I know you are all probably still trying to figure out what day it is and recover from the holidays, but how about a new knife?

The Silverstone, based loosely off of a Formula 1 race car and named after one of the first F1 tracks.

Front flip/flipper tab action, aggressive blade design, comfortable thumb ramp, flipper tab acts as a forward guard, ergonomic handle, windows in the breaker, handles, clip and blade to lighten the weight.

She’s a sporty one.
