One of my favorite parts of pressing flowers isn’t just preserving the blooms—it’s getting to know the people behind them.

I had the sweetest opportunity to meet my client who order this commission because she joined me for a pressing workshop. Flowers are so incredibly personal, and hearing the stories behind them makes what I do feel even more special.

I’m so grateful she trusted me with her flowers, shared a little piece of her story, and gave me the chance to create something meaningful alongside her.

This is why I love what I do!

New press, who dis?

I’ve been so excited to try my new high-pressure flower press, and what better test subject than my homegrown sunflowers?

There may have been three sunflower casualties along the way… but we’re calling that research.

There’s something extra special about preserving flowers you watched grow from seed, and these sunflowers will be available for my October pressed floral class! Sign up from the link in my bio!

There’s something about harvesting a bucket full of sunflowers that makes fall feel just a little bit closer. The garden is still bursting with summer, but I’m already dreaming of crisp mornings, cooler evenings, and all the cozy things this season brings.

I’m officially ready for cool weather.
Who else is ready for fall?!

Some helpers deserve a bouquet of their own!

My mom came this weekend to help me wrangle the boys while Alex was out of town, and I’m so incredibly grateful for her.

Having an extra set of hands made the weekend so much easier!

Of course, I had to send her home with a little piece of my garden for her house—yellow and white dahlias, abelia, celosia, and dara.

Thank you, Mom, for showing up, loving us so well, and helping hold everything together.

Sometimes, less really is more.

This sweet 8x8 bridal bouquet pressing features each flower and special element from the original bouquet, thoughtfully arranged to let every little detail shine.

The 8x8 is the smallest size I offer—a simple, beautiful way to preserve the flowers that mean the most to you. Finished in a natural wood frame, it keeps the focus on the delicate beauty of the blooms and the memories they hold.

And don’t forget to sign up for my flower pressing workshop this coming week! There are only a few spots left! Follow the link in my bio!

A bumper crop of dahlias this week and I am absolutely not complaining!

Armloads of blooms, endless color, and a garden that is showing off in the best way.

As much as I love summer, I’m already counting down to my favorite time in the garden—when the days start to cool, the light gets softer, and the dahlias are at their absolute peak.

I don’t just press flowers… I grow them, too.

Today’s harvest: armloads of dahlias!!!

There’s something extra special about growing a flower from a tiny seed, watching it bloom, and then getting to share that beauty with others.

Head over to Gather & Bloom and support the incredible local flower farmers who work so hard to sow beauty into our special Southern community. Every bunch helps keep local flowers growing.

Buy local. Grow local. Bloom local.

There are some projects that mean a little more, and this was one of them.

When I first wanted to learn how to press tulips, Greg Clark from Clarkshire Gardens generously shared some of his beautiful blooms with me so I could practice. Tulips are one of the trickiest flowers to preserve, and those first flowers helped me learn, experiment, and grow.

It felt especially meaningful to finally create this piece for Greg using flowers from his own garden. It’s a small way to say thank you for supporting my craft from the very beginning.

It’s moments like these that remind me how special this community is!
