Originally Smith's Grocery until 1992 when Miss Ozell passed away. Buster passed in 1964)

It passed through a handful of owners and different businesses but, eventually was used as a private home. Quickly becoming in disrepair, Tim & Pammie Long purchased it in April 2016 & immediately began restoring it to its' original vision as a Local Owned Store serving any & all who walked through its' door

. The Re-Grandopening occurred in October 2016 as DIXIE COUNTRY STORE with members of the Smith Family along with over 100 others in attendance. We are Open Friday 10-3 Saturdays 9-5.

The Fried Pie on the Left or the Fried Pie on the Right.

They say the Greatest Form of Flatery is when others try to Copy/Replicate what One does.

In the past few weeks our Guests have been telling us about others who have started selling their version of Fried Pies.

Our Guests are Honest and Shares with us that they have tried these other's and then share their opinion by coming back to get more of our Homemade Fried Pies.

We are indeed flattered by others who have decided to get into the "Fried Pie Business".

As for ourselves, we're not trying to be what others are because we Trust and Believe what y'all keep telling us that our
DIXIE FRIED PIES taste and reminds y'all of Mama's and Grandmama's Fried Pies and THAT is the Greatest Form of Flatery we could ask for. 😉

So, if you've tried the rest, come out this weekend and get y'all one or two of the Fried Pies people drive from all over North Mississippi, Northwest Alabama, and Southwest Tennessee to enjoy.
