Sure looks pretty, but also, HOT! I’m not ready to brave this heat and humidity, just yet. I plan to be at the 9/19 and 9/26 September Marietta Square Artisan Market . Looking ahead, you will find me Cherokee Heights Arts Festival on 10/17, one of my favorite days of the year. Other dates are TBD. I look forward to seeing YOU!

Entering Year 8! So grateful for the many relationships I have as a result of this side hustle. I like to say that I am Marietta Square’s used bookstore, if only on Saturday mornings. While I have popped up at many different establishments, Marietta Square Marietta Square Artisan Market is my mainstay. Special thanks to Stephanie Coston. I came in with the hard sell 7 years ago because I’d been turned down at other markets for not selling something homemade. I told her from the get-go that I thought I was suitable for an artisan market because I represent the arts. She said “I like books. You’re in.” The rest is history.

Should you find yourself in Columbus, GA, be sure to check out , an independent bookstore a couple miles from the historic downtown. This stop was part of a “pilgrimage” some friends and I took to visit Fountain City Coffee, the backdrop for the fictional book, Theo of Golden. The owner, Khristina, was knowledgeable and engaging, and the store was well curated with something for everyone. I walked away with Lady Tremaine; my TBR is so so big!
