January Recycling Run Update ♻️

This month, we completed another recycling run, responsibly dropping off 250 pounds of broken appliance parts at the Hyperion Safe Center, working with Clean Harbors to ensure they’re handled properly.

These are parts removed during repairs — control boards, motors, fans, and other components that can’t be reused and should never end up in a landfill. Taking the extra step to recycle them helps reduce electronic waste and keeps harmful materials out of the environment.

This is part of how we approach appliance repair every day: repair before replace, then responsibly recycle what’s removed. Small actions add up over time, especially when homeowners choose repair over replacement.

How incredible is that?

As 2025 came to an end, I wanted to personally say thank you to our neighbors and community.

This year, because so many of you chose to repair instead of replace, we were able to divert 2,300+ appliances from ending up in landfills. One repair might feel like a small decision, but when thousands of neighbors make that same choice, the impact is real — right here in our community.
