Local Raw Honey is Back in Stock! 🍯

Our shelves are freshly restocked with delicious local raw honey from Hive Five Honey and it’s as beautiful as it is tasty!

Ever notice that some honey is light while some is dark?
The color actually comes from the pollen and nectar sources the bees collect. Because different plants bloom throughout the season, bees gather nectar from a variety of flowers at different times of the year.

That means a single hive can produce different shades and flavors of honey from season to season!

Beekeepers call this a “varietal,” which simply reflects the flowers the bees were visiting when the honey was made.

So whether you prefer a light, delicate honey or a darker, richer flavor, each jar is a little taste of the local landscape.

🦴 A True Piece of Ancient Earth Has Arrived 🌎

Take a step back in time… about 160 million years.

This incredible fossil is a Vinctifer comptoni, a prehistoric fish discovered in the world-famous Santana Formation in Ceará, Brazil. These fast-swimming predators lived during the age of dinosaurs and hunted the ancient seas much like modern barracuda do today.

What makes this piece especially special is the preservation. Fossils from this region are known worldwide for their incredible detail, and this specimen shows the fish beautifully captured in stone naturally split into two mirrored halves, allowing you to see the structure of this ancient creature.
