I wanted to take a moment to update you about the page and clarify some details regarding older posts and pricing. Recently, I’ve been working on removing posts that are more than two years old. If you come across something that interests you, please feel free to reach out! However, I must note that sale prices on some older posts are no longer valid. I sincerely apologize for any confusion this may cause.
Due to time constraints, I’m updating and removing older posts as my schedule allows. I’m actively deleting items I no longer have in stock and revising posts with outdated sale information. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during this process.
I’d also like to address an issue that has come up recently. As a small business owner, it can be disheartening when someone sees a sale price and asks for an even lower price. I want to gently point out that this is not something you would typically do with large businesses like Walmart or Amazon. Small businesses like mine operate on much tighter margins and cannot offer the same kind of bulk discounts as big-box retailers. I don’t mean to offend anyone by mentioning this—it’s simply something I’ve had to address after receiving quite a few messages over the past 48 hours with complaints about pricing changes from almost two years ago to today.
Regarding my blankets specifically: Over the past year, I’ve had to adjust pricing due to rising manufacturing costs. While I’ve tried to avoid raising prices, the cost to produce a single blanket—including materials, personalization, and other associated expenses—now runs approximately $95, not including the 12-15 hours it takes me to make each one. Unfortunately, this means I can no longer offer sales in the $40-$60 range as I did in the past.
I also understand you may find similar-looking options elsewhere for a lower price. However, the quality may not be the same. I work directly with manufacturers who follow strict guidelines to ensure my blankets meet the highest standards. Big-box retailers, on the other hand, have the advantage of bulk purchasing, which allows them to offer lower prices. As a small business, I don’t have the capacity to order thousands of items at once, but I do strive to provide unique, high-quality products that are personalized just for you.
You are, of course, free to shop wherever best suits your needs, and I completely respect that. However, I want to reassure you that I do my best to keep my prices as reasonable as possible. I also regularly offer sales, but I cannot lower prices beyond those discounts due to the costs involved.
