Tonight was the moment that made all those hours of sewing worth it. ❤️🧵

The bride and groom opened their memory quilt at their wedding reception, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. 🥹❤️

Knowing that this quilt holds pieces of their loved one’s clothing and so many special memories makes it more than just a quilt—it’s a piece of their family’s story that they can cherish for years to come.

This is why I love doing what I do. 🥰
I get to take memories and turn them into something they can wrap themselves in forever. ❤️🧵

🧵 A Little Mending Today! 🧵

I don’t offer alterations as a service, but when my niece came to me and asked if I could fix her shirt, I said sure.

The piece on the right is the original piece, and as you can see, it had definitely seen better days! It was worn out and coming apart, so I replaced it with a brand-new piece. Good as new! 🪡✨

Today is all about getting a few small, much-needed things done around the house. I’m checking off those little projects before we head out to a wedding this evening. 💒❤️

Sometimes it’s the little things that need attention too! 😊

Thank you all for being so patient with me while I finished up this memory quilt. ❤️ I’m happy to say it’s officially finished! 🧵🪡

Now that this special project is complete, I’m ready to jump into some new projects. I have lots of ideas waiting in the wings, so stay tuned! ✂️❤️

I’ll be posting a picture of the finished quilt as soon as I’m given the green light. Until then, you’ll just have to wait a little longer! 😉

I’m spending the weekend quilting this beautiful memory quilt using an end-to-end quilting design. It’s always exciting to watch the pattern come to life across the quilt.

I took yesterday off to unwind and recharge, but today I’m back at it!

My sweet sister brought me this adorable coffee mug on Wednesday for my birthday yesterday. I absolutely love it! ❤️

Today I’ll be finishing up a memory quilt top and, hopefully, getting a few more projects cut out and ready to sew.

My hubby 3D printed this adorable Spool Buddy for me, and I couldn’t love it more! It even has little movable arms and legs. 🥰

It’s the perfect addition to my sewing room and definitely brings a smile to my face while I’m working on all of my memory quilts and other projects.
