My National Day of Prayer

Heavenly Father, through Your dear Son Jesus Christ, we thank You that You have kept us this night from all harm and danger. We pray that You would keep us this day also from sin and every evil, and guide us in all we do.
We thank You for our downtown businesses and pray that You would bless and prosper them, so they may continue to serve and strengthen our community.
We lift up our elected public servants
—local, state, and national. Grant them wisdom and integrity as they serve the public. Help them to act in our best interests, to use our tax dollars wisely and faithfully, and to govern with justice and compassion. We thank them for their service.
We give thanks for our churches, their pastors, and all parishioners who faithfully serve those in need through food pantries, clothes closets, prayer, and acts of mercy. Strengthen their hands and multiply their efforts.
Lord, may all our doings and our life this day please You. Into Your hands we commend ourselves, our bodies and souls, and all things. Let Your holy angel be with us, that the evil foe may have no power over us.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

I woke up to no internet 🛜. Called, our modem is bad. The earliest they can replace it is tomorrow between 12-2. I’ve got too much to do, and let me tell you these kids are going to be LIVID when they get home. 🤪
