Todays highlights:

It was a very hot day so we started a bit earlier and had a great time finding some nice gold and quartz crystals.

My guests worked for a bit to get together about 3/4" bucket of screened dirt. Washed the paydirt through our sluicebox and BOOM! Killer gold..Bucket #2: Not as good as bucket 1 but SOLID! I always tell people if you are finding more than 1 piece that is GREAT! Good job today!

Todays Highlights...
Today we walked up to the sluice box and there was a nugget in the nugget catch a trip member had left from yesterday!!!...That was super exciting!!!!!

Our two families started their dig while some looked for crystals all within 100 feet of the car..no hiking..In this video i dislay the results of a little less than a bucket and a half of material..(two 3/4 buckets)..

I went out early this morning and dug about 2/3 of a bucket screened to 1/2" mesh. Then, I washed the dirt through my sluice box, to extract the gold. People always ask if they are going to find gold on the trips... and I always tell them an enthusiastic..YES!!!

Every group went home with a bottle of gold, some nice quartz crystals, and a new found Hobby! You can dig a half a bucket at our place and find some killer flakes/fines and even nuggets most of the time! One young man found a nice little nugget, that we put in a little container for him! He was very happy :)!!!
