Mariposa Coffee Company Once Tried, Always Desired! The Mariposa Coffee Company is located in the beautiful Sierra Mountains just outside of Yosemite National Park.

Nestled on the site of the historic 49er Stage Stop, visitors can tour the roasting process and experience a pure cup of coffee fresh out of the roaster! Our family owned company roasted its first batch of coffee in 1991. Using the finest high grown arabica coffee beans from around the world, we develop our blends to ensure the highest quality and consistency possible. We take pride in our products and offer a custom cup of coffee crafted from start to finish by one pair of hands belonging to the master roaster and blender Gerry Caputo.

We named our 49er Blend in honor of those early days—and made it our gold standard for a house blend.

What started at Basecamp Eatery soon became a favorite throughout Yosemite, and today you’ll find Basecamp Blend at stores and campsites throughout Yosemite National Park.
