Well y'all the day has arrived! Today is my last day here at the Mercantile. It's been an absolute pleasure being a part of the community and getting to know so many wonderful people in it. I know I'll see y'all around town. I just wanted to express my gratitude to all of you who have shopped here in my little store over the last two years. Life has a way of throwing us curve balls and directing our paths in ways we never thought it would go. That rings true now and when I opened this place. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever see myself running a thrift /antique store and Bakery, but here we are ending that chapter today. For those who didn't know the reason I'm closing my doors is because my husband was diagnosed back in November with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer. My life was redirected at that moment. I am very pleased to say he is doing remarkably well and is nearly cancer free at this time. I plan to keep him that way. My main focus and priority has been him for the last 7 months and will continue to be.Thank you all who have been checking in on me and for all your love, support and prayers, it means the world to me! I know we made the best decision when we uprooted ourselves from our home in the Pacific Northwest and moved here not knowing a soul. I couldn't ask for a better place to live, a beautiful state, a wonderful community and amazing friends! We were truly blessed to find this gem we will forever call home! I appreciate you all and for taking the time to read this long post. Stop in and see me today I'll be here till 5 pm.
Thanks for everything ❤️
