Meet Linda🌼

Linda has been part of Gift Well for 3 years, and she loves the folks who stop in—especially those who don’t realize how many different items the shop carries or that the proceeds benefit Beacon House! She also enjoys spending time with patients’ family members who just need a few moments to get away and chat. 💛

Outside of work, Linda stays busy with her almost‑5‑year‑old German shepherd — every evening is a marathon game of fetch! She also loves to cook and try new recipes, and, as she says, “being a certain age,” she loves to shop in actual retail stores. 🐾🍳🛍️

Meet Shirlee🌼

Shirlee has been part of Gift Well for 10 years, welcoming customers from all over — and greeting nurses who stop in for their favorite candy. She loves the friendly volunteers and staff she works with, and says the people are what make her time in the shop so enjoyable. 💛

Outside of work, Shirlee enjoys traveling and making wool mittens, a hobby that keeps her hands busy and her creativity flowing. ✈️🧤

Meet EveAnna 🌼

She’s been volunteering at Gift Well for five years, after spending 21 years welcoming guests in the OR waiting room. EveAnna is a gift who keeps on giving!

What does she enjoy most about volunteering in the shop? She says she’s got a great boss, and she loves feeling that in a small way, she’s helping Beacon House. She enjoys working with a great group of people, seeing and assisting old friends, and feeling the satisfaction of being part of such a beneficial community organization. She loves giving back — and she’s proud to be part of a store respected for its uniqueness and quality. 💛

Outside of work, she loves reading, cooking, organizing family photos, and spending time with her grandchildren. 📚🍲👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
