🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET — 9/11/2001

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the incredible bravery of the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away.

That spirit of courage, sacrifice, and service is at the heart of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation — an organization created in honor of FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller, who gave his life on September 11th after running through the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers.

This year, supporting Tunnel to Towers has become especially meaningful to all of us at Acadian Flooring America. We will never forget the people who showed up for us when we needed them most. ❤️

Now, we want to give back.

After the fire at Acadian this past January, we saw firsthand just how much our first responders and local firefighters do for our community. They showed up for us when we needed them most, and this is our opportunity to give back and say THANK YOU to the people who helped keep Acadian standing.

✨ FEATURE FRIDAY | CHRISTOPHER BOURGEOIS ✨

This week’s Feature Friday is all about classic character meeting warm, timeless style!

Throughout the main living areas, we installed a beautiful laminate from LW Flooring called Montclair Denali, which flows seamlessly from room to room, giving the home a cohesive, inviting feel. We especially love how the natural tones complement the cabinetry and the gorgeous marble fireplace. 🤎

And then there’s the checkerboard tile. 😍 The soft gray and white combination called Sterlina II by Emser Tile is laid on a diagonal, and it brings just the right amount of personality to the space. It feels classic and timeless while still making a statement — and the transition between the checkerboard and laminate flooring is SO good.

Two completely different looks that work beautifully together in one home!

✨ FEATURE FRIDAY | Felix John Hoskin // Hoskin Homes – 11TH STREET ✨

This one is all about bold choices and beautiful craftsmanship.

The star of this home is the gorgeous wood-look flooring installed in a herringbone pattern, flowing throughout the open living and kitchen space. This is our biggest porcelain wood look yet, named Selva, and it comes 10"x72"! The warm, natural tones add just the right amount of softness against the dramatic dark cabinetry, statement stone island, and brass finishes. That herringbone layout takes an already beautiful floor and makes it feel completely custom.

And can we talk about that powder room?! 💚 The black-and-white geometric mosaic paired with rich green walls and polished brass plumbing is such a fun, unexpected moment. Proof that a small space is the perfect place to go BIG with personality!

Another incredible project with Hoskin Homes — we love seeing all of the finishes come together in this 11th Street home. 🏡✨
