I want Marshall to become the kind of town where you drive by a house and think, “Dang… look at that garden.” 🌻
Not just one house.
Everywhere.
A porch overflowing with flowers.
A little vegetable garden tucked beside a fence.
Native plants buzzing with bees.
A shady garden beneath the East Texas pines.
A pot of herbs growing right outside the kitchen door.
Because beautiful towns don’t happen by accident.
Somebody plants something.
Then somebody else sees it and thinks, I could do that.
And before you know it, one garden becomes ten.
Ten becomes a neighborhood.
And a neighborhood starts to feel different.
That’s what I believe gardening can do for Marshall, Texas and communities all across East Texas.
And you don’t need a big yard or a green thumb to be part of it.
🌱 Plant one flower bed.
🌿 Grow a few herbs.
🍅 Put tomatoes in a container.
🦋 Add plants for butterflies and pollinators.
🌻 Put something beautiful where people can see it.
Let your little corner of Marshall be beautiful.
Because when we all grow something, we’re not just growing gardens.
We’re growing a town we’re proud to call home.
One person.
One plant.
One porch at a time. ❤️
