Another trip around the Sun🌞for me today! 🎂
Every year on my birthday, I find myself reflecting a little more on just how precious this life really is.
We get ONE shot at it. One life to love, to learn, to grow, to make mistakes, to laugh until we cry, and sometimes to cry until we can laugh again…
And the older I get, the more I realize that I don’t want to spend my years simply trying to preserve them. I want to LIVE them!
I came across this quote, and it made me smile...
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ‘Wow! What a Ride!’”

The Lord’s mercies are new every morning. What a beautiful promise that is. Another day to wake up, another opportunity to love the people He’s placed in my life, another chance to do something meaningful with the time I’ve been given.
Not every part of this ride has been easy. There have been bumps, heartaches, unexpected turns and plenty of lessons along the way. But there has also been SO much goodness.
And today, I’m simply grateful. For the years behind me, for the people who’ve shared them with me, and for whatever the Lord has planned for the years ahead.
