TOMORROW IS THE DAY!

After weeks of planning, shopping, organizing, and getting everything ready, Step Into Success happens TOMORROW morning!

Tomorrow, we are prepared to help 200 Marshall County children head back to school with:

👟 $10,000 worth of BRAND-NEW shoes
🎒 Backpacks for students in grades 1–8
✏️ School supplies for grades 1–8

STEP INTO SUCCESS

📅 TOMORROW — Saturday, August 15
🕗 Starts at 8:00 A.M.
📍 Shoe Sensation
2500 South Center Street, Marshalltown

NO PRE-SIGN-UP IS REQUIRED!

REQUIREMENTS TO RECEIVE SHOES

• Must be on some form of government assistance — SNAP, WIC, HUD, FIP, DHS letter, or school counselor referral
• Must bring proof of each child — birth certificate, school ID, medical insurance card, etc.
• Child must live in your household and be financially supported by you
• One pair of shoes per child
• No duplicate check-ins for the same child

Shoes, backpacks, and supplies will be available while supplies last.

And we really want everyone to understand how something like this becomes possible.

When you shop or donate at Thrifty Relief, you're helping create the funding that allows us to invest right back into our community.

When you choose Junk Relief for your junk removal or dumpster rental needs, you're supporting a local business that believes part of its success should be used to help the community that made that success possible.

And through United Cajun Navy, we're able to take that same spirit of service and put it into action. United Cajun Navy's mission isn't only about responding when disaster strikes. It's about helping communities before, during, and after disasters—and being there even when there is no disaster.

Tomorrow, all three of those things come together.

Local businesses being supported. A community organization serving. And 200 local children benefiting because people chose to support what we're doing.

To every Thrifty Relief shopper and donor, every Junk Relief customer, every United Cajun Navy supporter and volunteer, and everyone else who has helped us get here — THANK YOU.

Tomorrow, your support becomes brand-new shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and hopefully a little extra confidence for kids walking into their first day of school.

Please SHARE this tonight and help us reach the Marshall County families who need it.

We'll see you tomorrow at Shoe Sensation at 8:00 A.M.! ❤️

Because of the event, Thrifty Relief will most likely open between 11:00 AM and noon on Saturday and will remain open until 4:00 PM. We'll post an update as soon as the doors are open!

The store continues to have new items coming in, so stop by, look around, and see what you can find. Every purchase at Thrifty Relief helps us continue putting money right back into projects that serve families in our community.

THIS SATURDAY — STEP INTO SUCCESS!

We are officially just a few days away, and seeing everything come together has us thinking about why this event is possible in the first place.

The answer is simple: YOU.

When you call Junk Relief for junk removal, rent one of our dumpsters, shop at Thrifty Relief, or donate items to the store, you're doing more than supporting local businesses.

You're helping us give back to this community.

This Saturday, that support is going to turn into something pretty incredible.

👟 $10,000 in brand-new shoes
🎒 Backpacks and school supplies for grades 1–8
❤️ 200 Marshall County children getting some of what they need to start the new school year confident and prepared.

This isn't money coming from some huge corporation or program. A large part of what makes projects like this possible comes directly from people in our community choosing to support Junk Relief and Thrifty Relief.

Every junk removal job matters.

Every dumpster rental matters.

Every purchase at Thrifty Relief matters.

Every item donated to Thrifty Relief matters.

It all adds up—and this Saturday, you get to see what that support can do.

To every Junk Relief customer, every Thrifty Relief shopper, every person who has donated to Thrifty Relief, and everyone who continues to support what we're trying to do:

Thank you. This is YOUR support coming right back into YOUR community.

We can't wait to see everyone Saturday! ❤️

Look at this! ❤️

Today was just one of many shopping trips as we continue preparing for our Step Into Success Back-to-School Shoe Giveaway, and we couldn't be more excited!

Cart after cart, we're filling them with notebooks, folders, binders, pencils, crayons, pencil boxes, and so much more. Before long, all of these supplies will be in the hands of local students as they head back to school.

The best part? This is only possible because of you.
Every time you shop at Thrifty Relief or donate items to our store, you're doing more than supporting a thrift store—you're investing in Marshall County families. Every purchase helps us turn generosity into action, and these photos are proof of that.

On Saturday, August 15, we'll be providing: 👟 $10,000 worth of brand-new shoes 🎒 School supplies and backpacks for students in grades 1–8 ❤️ Serving 200 local children

We're still checking items off our list, and there are more shopping trips ahead, but seeing these carts fill up reminds us just how much our community can accomplish when we work together.
From all of us at Thrifty Relief, thank you for believing in our mission of Saving Together. Because of your support, 200 local kids will head into the new school year with the tools they need to succeed.

Stay tuned—there's much more to come as we get closer to event day!
