A garden gets bigger when you learn how to work with what is already growing there.
For our Sept. 24 ticketed Thursday, we’re gathering around one of the farm’s most useful fall plants: sedum.
We’ll learn how an established perennial becomes three, five, ten more plants — not by buying more, but by understanding how the plant grows.
Anna will teach pruning and propagation around the farm, then we’ll get hands-on with sedum: finding the natural divisions, working through the roots, making the cuts, and learning how to replant successfully.
That’s the kind of skill we love sharing here: something simple enough to learn in an evening, useful in your own garden, and more valuable every year you know how to do it.
