It’s always fun to stop in and discover something you just have to take home! And look what we found!! A spider plant, just like ours. They could be twins!! 😉

Today’s local looks…two little parks, with two important pieces of Marshfield history!
Our first stop, Strohman Park. A beautiful memorial to Lt.Marvin Strohman, who lost his life in the line of duty. It also honors the many other local firefighters who served our community.
We then made our way around the corner to Hardacre Park, named in honor of Marilyn Hardacre, Marshfield’s first woman mayor. The park itself tells a story with all the beautiful murals.

Of course we had to bring a little Wisconsin pride with us. A brown Wisconsin sweatshirt, a little orange plaid and a beautiful fall day…sounds like a perfect Marshfield Local looks to me.

So take a little time to appreciate the people and history of those who helped serve our community and make Marshfield what it is!
