FALL FERTILIZER TIME! 🍂
We have some Pro Tips to help you get your BEAUTIFUL lawn back!

1. It’s time to apply the Fall Recovery Fertilizer
- We sell them in 50 # bags, it’s a granular product, so apply it before it rains, or be sure to run a sprinkler after applying to activate the product
- This step helps your lawn recover from the stress of summer and increases color and growth

2. This is a great time to treat your broadleaf weeds again - like dandelions, clover, lespedeza, spurge, thistle, and plantain. We recommend W**d Free Zone.

3. We’re finally entering into lawn seeding time with the cooler temps and hopefully more rain! So swing by and pick up a bag to overseed any areas in your lawn that need thickening up.

One of our most common questions is "Why aren't my hydrangeas blooming?!"
Here are our top most common reasons to consider:

#1 - Sun Exposure - First off, all hydrangeas need some sun! Morning sun is best. Your partial sun hydrangeas need at least 4 hrs of sun, and up to 6hrs, but can't handle the afternoon sun. These are typically your colorful blue, purple and pink ones and oak leaf hydrangeas. Full sun hydrangeas, such as Limelights and Little Limes, need at least 6 hours, and they can also handle the hot afternoon sun.

#2 - Pruning - Some hydrangeas bloom on new wood - like Limelights, Little Limes, Quickfires, and Annabelles - so you can prune away, anytime of year. Others bloom on old wood, and shouldn't be pruned until after they are blooming -such as Oakleaf, Tuff Stuff, Bloomstruck or Endless Summer varieties.

#3 - Fertilizing - Plants NEED food! In order to produce many blooms, fertilize your hydrangeas early in the season (like March), as they're waking up, all the way up until they start blooming.
