I was able to get some solid training in this weekend with Chuck Lowe and Jeremy Lightner . Appreciate you guys coming over to my place for one day and appreciate you having us over to your place for one day Chuck. I had a great time, learned a lot, and it helped me to develop a plan moving forward with only a few weeks to go before World Shoot.

This is a fact. I don't have to worry about the r***e doing its job or the scope having an issue. I only have to worry about doing my part and figuring what I can do to be better and make improvements every time I hit the range.

Today I am asking for your feedback. Check out the video I have on YouTube and help me identify the things that I need to work on. Warning, there is a lot. But we all have to start somewhere, right?

In this video, I will play a stage video from the 2025 USPSA Multigun Nationals twice. The first time, watch it and take notes. Then there will be a brief pause in the video, so hit pause and scroll down to leave your feedback/critique in the comments, then hit play and the stage will play again. This time, I will narrate some of the things that I saw that I need to improve upon.

After this video, I will start doing content of drills on how to fix, or improve, the things that need work. Hopefully, this will help you and I get better together

Another stage from the 3 gun match. Felt like I had a pretty consistent match with a few mistakes here and there that did cost me time, but I was pretty happy with how I recovered from those mistakes. I attribute that to working on mental performance through the Altimas program. During the off season I will continue to focus heavily on accuracy and really get focused on my speed in transitions between targets, transitions between guns, footwork and movement, etc.... there's a lot to work on but work on it I will do.

Sometimes things don't go as planned.

When things don't go as planned on a stage It can not only ruin that stage but our entire match if we let it. This has definitely happened to me before. I've gotten into my head, waiting for the next shoe to drop, and watched my match go down in flames. I've been working pretty hard to overcome that over the last several months. And a couple things have changed that for me.

1. I have been working with .horner3gun and his mental performance course, Altimas. This course has helped me to change my mindset on several things. This helped me to keep my mind in the game both in the moment and in the match overall. Not allowing something going wrong to lead to more things going wrong.

2.Most notably, the course helped me to identify a truly bad habit I had during practice sessions. If things went really bad during a practice run, I would stop, reset, and then start over again. Over the last few months I have fought through whatever issue I was having and continue with the practice run.

This particular run on the all sh***un jungle run at , was a perfect example of things going wrong. I knocked shells off of the belt while conducting reloads, went to dry lock twice, had two standing reloads, shot things out of order... While all that was going on, I was still able to keep my head in the stage and get hits on the targets without a bunch of makeup shots. I got to the last portion of this stage and only had enough rounds left to go one for one. I was able to do so to include the small slug target at the end. After this stage I went on to have one of my better stages of the match on the next stage. This would typically be the point that everything kind of unravels. But it did not because the mental performance and preparation was something I had been working on.

FYI.... There will be registrations for in-person Altimas classes coming soon. So stay tuned!

I spent the weekend at the 2025 3 Gun match this weekend and had a great time, despite the rain. Normally, shooting in the rain just sucks the fun out of everything, but our squad stayed laughing, working hard resetting, and having a great time the entire time.

As far as shooting goes, I didn't finish too badly at 20/103. I definitely could have finished higher if not for a few costly mental mistakes. My r***e ran great all weekend and I only had a few makeup shots on long range w/ targets going out to 700 yards. My B12iX ran equally great. I absolutely love this sh***un that comes factory w/ left side charging and is decked out in all the go-fast goodies from . I have been struggling on pistol for awhile now. Not because of the pistol, which is a custom 6" 2011 Sight tracker from , but because I hadn't put the work in. So that was my primary focus over the last couple of weeks and it paid off. I could see huge growth in how I shot the pistol this weekend and it will only get better. And of course, all of my fi****ms were topped w/ I love the large window on the Defender XL and this weekend we really put the windage holds on the reticle to good use on the RZR 1x10.

The match itself was an awesome match. Lots of opportunities to get on the gas, shoot into and out of positions, shoot on the move, good long range shooting positions, and stage designs. I think this was the best match does so far, by far.

Also, I've been applying different aspects of the Altimas program to help me on training, match preparation, and performance. I can see the gains as a result of the program and am excited to see the continued growth and results as I apply more of the Altimas concepts to my life, both personally and professionally.

I have to say thank you to my beautiful wife who spent the weekend being ran over by 2 extremely energetic little boys while I was here selling stuff and shooting guns!
